The Teanaway Community Forest Advisory Committee provides advice to the Washington State Departments of Natural Resources (DNR) and Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) about the ongoing management and recreation planning for the forest. The committee represents the interests of governments, communities, partners, and stakeholder groups reflecting the priorities of the broad cross-section of Washingtonians who cherish the forest.
Starting in October 2016, DNR, DFW and the committee members are beginning a roughly two-year recreation planning process for the Teanaway Community Forest. Advisory committee meetings are currently held on a monthly basis, typically near the Cle Elum community, and are open to all members of the public. Quarterly meetings include agenda items for both recreation planning and ongoing forest management. Click here for other 2016 meeting information and previous documents from 2015 and 2014.
